Gill Ripley MusB (Hons), MMus(Perf)

Gill began learning the violin at the age of six. In 1999 Gill studied for her MMus degree at the Royal Northern College of Music. Following her studies Gill was awarded a place in the Southbank Sinfonia giving the opportunity to play Bruch Violin Concerto with the orchesta. Other solo performances with orchestras include Beethoven Violin Concerto, Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, Sibelius Violin Concerto and Mozart Sinfonia Concertante.

In 2007 Gill was part of a group of musicians touring with Russell Watson on his 'The Voice' Tour. Orchestral work includes the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Ballet, Royal Philharmonic Concerto Orchestra and New London Orchestra.
