Strelitzia is a professional string quartet working within 75 miles of Manchester. All musicians are graduates of the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music. Since 2002 the quartet has performed for around 40 Weddings, functions and events each year. We cater to a broad range of musical tastes and have music ranging from Baroque/Classical to Pop/Jazz and Bollywood. We are happy to give suggestions for music choices and talk through any queries you may have.  Our dress code is dinner or black suits for the men and all black for the ladies.

As well as performing for Weddings and Civil Partnerships, Strelitzia's corporate clients include Yamaha, Yorkshire Bank, Ernst & Young and Manchester United. Should any member of the group be unavailable for a booking they will be replaced by a deputy drawn from a select group of exceptional professional musicians. As freelance players members and deputies of Strelitzia play with world-class orchestras such as the Hallé, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
